Benh Zeitlin is an American filmmaker, director, screenwriter, and composer. He is widely recognized for directing and co-writing the 2012 film "Beasts of the Southern Wild," which earned him Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Zeitlin also directed the 2020 film "Wendy" and is currently working on the upcoming outlaw romance "Hold On To Your Angels."
