BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in 2010 by Big Hit Entertainment and debuting in 2013. The group, consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, has achieved global superstardom with their music, socially conscious lyrics, and record-breaking album sales. They are recognized for leading the Korean Wave into the United States and becoming the first K-pop group to top the Billboard Hot 100.
