The Dallas Wings are an American professional basketball team based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex that competes in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) as a member of the Western Conference. The franchise was founded in 1998 as the Detroit Shock, winning three WNBA championships before relocating to Tulsa in 2010 and then to Arlington, Texas, in 2016, where they were rebranded as the Dallas Wings.
