Stromboli is a small volcanic island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily, Italy. It is one of the seven Aeolian Islands and is renowned for Mount Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, which has earned it the nickname "Lighthouse of the Mediterranean." The island is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is part of the Metropolitan City of Messina province.
