American musician Oliver Taylor Hawkins (1972–2022) was best known as the drummer and occasional vocalist for the rock band Foo Fighters from 1997 until his death. He also led his own side project, Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders, and was a member of other groups like NHC and The Birds of Satan. Renowned for his powerful drumming and charismatic stage presence, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Foo Fighters in 2021.
