The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is an alliance of public service media organizations, established on February 12, 1950. Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, it facilitates the exchange of radio and television services and is best known for organizing the Eurovision Song Contest. The EBU also operates the Eurovision and Euroradio telecommunications networks.
