Finn is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the 2015 film *The Force Awakens* as a First Order stormtrooper designated FN-2187. Disturbed by the Order's cruelty, he defects and joins the Resistance, becoming a hero alongside Rey and Poe Dameron. He is portrayed by actor John Boyega and was later revealed to be Force-sensitive.
