Arioka Castle, also known as Itami Castle, is a ruined flatland castle located in Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Originally built by the Itami clan during the Nanboku-chō period (1336–1392), it was significantly expanded by Araki Murashige in 1574. The castle became famous as the site of a prolonged 10-month siege in 1578-1579 when Murashige rebelled against Oda Nobunaga. Today, the site is preserved as a National Historic Site and a public park.
